New Year, New Job?

Let’s not pretend, deciding to return to work is tough.

You are taking a step into the unknown. There are so many things to think about, let alone the niggling self-doubt about whether you have made the right decision for you and your family.

Yet you are not alone. In fact, there are almost 1 million professionals across the UK actively looking to go back to work.

Once you have decided to return to work, you then need to think about what your priorities are.

Are they career, money and a new challenge? Or low stress, close to home and school hours? Or something completely different? Either and any are absolutely fine and they are personal to you, but you need to work them out before trying to decide what kind of role you are looking for.

Once you have worked this out, you can then write a CV that reflects you and the sort of job you would like. Then there is the small matter of finding and applying for the right sort of jobs and going through the interview process.

Sound a little daunting? Don’t be put off. We are here to help.
